1. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use Multimeter on any Mac computers that you personally own
• Create and customize meter templates for personal use
• Share your custom meter templates with others

One license per person. Each license is tied to your name and may be used on multiple Macs that you own for personal use. Business or organizational use requires one license per user.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Share, sell, or distribute your license key to others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
• Create derivative works based on the Software itself (custom meters are allowed)

3. Pricing and Payment

Multimeter is available for a one-time purchase of $9.99 USD. This includes:

• The current version of Multimeter
• All future updates and new features
• Email support

Prices are subject to change for future purchases, but existing customers will continue to receive updates at no additional cost.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Multimeter for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase at support@multimeterapp.com and we'll process a full refund.

After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion and may be considered for technical issues that we cannot resolve.

5. Updates and Support

Your purchase includes free updates for the lifetime of the product. Updates are delivered automatically via Sparkle. We provide email support at support@multimeterapp.com.

While we strive to respond to all support requests promptly, we do not guarantee specific response times.

6. Custom Meters

You retain ownership of any custom meter templates you create. By sharing your meters (e.g., in the community gallery, when implemented), you grant us and other users a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and redistribute your meters.

You are responsible for ensuring your custom meters do not contain malicious code or infringe on others' intellectual property.

7. Intellectual Property

Multimeter, including its code, design, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

The built-in meter templates are provided under the same license as the Software and may not be redistributed separately.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Multimeter is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

We are not responsible for any damage to your computer, data loss, or other issues that may result from using the Software.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from your use of Multimeter is limited to the amount you paid for the Software ($9.99).

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of the cause of action.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies.

If your license is terminated due to a violation, you are not entitled to a refund.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via the website or app updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
